I received my diploma for completing piano studies at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, Russia in 2009. During my time at the Conservatory, I won prizes at multiple international competitions including:
- 6th Seiler International Piano Competition in Palermo, Italy
- 9th International Maria Yudina Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia
- Festival for Young Organists in Halle, Germany
- International Open Festival Competition for Organ Music in Gatchina, Russia
- International Organ Festival in Haarlem, Holland
In fact, I was active as a performer during my musical training from a very early age. In 1995, at the age of nine, I was featured on the “Little Golden Clef” television show highlighting talented young musicians on one of the main Russian television stations.
I then left Russia to continue my studies in Graz, Austria where I received my Masters Degree and an additional Post-Graduate Diploma from the University for Music and Performing Arts. While there, I often assisted the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra when they needed a keyboard instrument in the orchestra (harpsichord, organ, piano, etc.)
Upon moving to America, I began taking private students at all levels of interest. I enjoy teaching students who are simply studying for personal enrichment and development, as well as students with specific academic and professional goals. No matter what the specific interest is, I can make sure fundamentals are in place, good habits are ingrained, and bad habits are avoided.
